“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

Today I will share something written by my dear sister Lepang, because I know we all have moments like these.

“…being who you are makes you unique. You have to stand out. You have to believe that you are in the right place – exactly where God wants you to be. Have you ever encountered a situation where you felt like God couldn’t possibly use you? The odds were so great that it didn’t seem God would create in you a purpose for exactly where you were..?

Well, there is a plan and purpose for every stage of our lives and I am starting to see that now, more than ever. There is no mistake about where we are and what we are going through. Affirm yourself today and say “I’m in the right place“. Trust that every stage of life has a dedicated plan and that God always has a way out.

When we feel out of place, we try to run away from a place that we could otherwise try to perfect in order to accomplish the task at hand. That has been a great lesson for me; to change my thoughts from “moving” to “perfecting”. The ‘moving away from something’ mindset will always have you on the run and trying to escape, but the ‘confronting things head on’ mindset will keep you in peace, and allow God to give you the strength you need when you need it – to go to the next level. Every now and then, it is always best to stand still and know that He is God.”

The LORD will perfect that which concerns me: Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever: forsake not the works of your own hands. Psalm 138:8
