tropical STYLE TRENDS

I always wonder what it is about hot weather that makes most people want to wear brighter, happier colours. Could it be that we feel much better and more in love with nature then as opposed to winter when the weather elements are attacking us? Anyway, this shoot on a very hot, sweltering 35+ degrees celsius location begged us to put our best, bright hues on. Accompanied by big hair et al, I literally felt like my face was melting hence the many fierce ‘blue steels’ – I was just trying to keep it all together 😉 You know in pregnancy style weather, 35 might as well be 50 degrees celsius! n.b. This is the look that inspired this month’s tropical style trends issue cover which can be seen here.
