lucy-haleThe end of the year is almost here, which means a lot more shindigs to attend, and we know what that calls for… killer holiday style! Well, without wasting much time, let’s see what tips we can get from Lucy Hale’s fashion style for the festive season. My tip? Try and get out of the box and actually try something new. Life is too short not to know how much fun shimmying in a 70s style top is like. Anyhoo, here’s your #HolidayHowTo for 2016.

Wear something twirl-worthy.A fringy top is bound to get you plenty of attention. Besides, it is too much fun to dance in’. We concur, Miss Lucy. Pretty and delicate but popping earrings will sure have you looking like an A-Lister!

Party in you PJs. Pyjamas? Fear not, this trend is very relaxed and easy, but looks put-together and uber chic. All you need is an awesome pair of shoes to complete the look,  (and the right pair of pyjamas of course). ‘The older I get, the more I like to try clothing that’s a bit outside the box. And I am always all about comfort’, says Lucy. This trend is certainly not for everyone, but knock yourself out if you are brave enough.

Say yes to texture. Damn straight! We most definitely say YES YES YES! A fluffy sweater is so 90s, and when it is paired with a sequinned skirt, the contrast is girly enough and fun, with a little bit of edge mixed in.  ‘I am always in flats. They add an unexpcted twist to an otherwise dressy look. Plus they allow you to be on your feet the whole night’. You are preaching to the choir girl!

Turn Red on its head. Red is definitely a very sexy colour. Mmhhh. ‘I love a modern tone on tone slouchy take. It is just too cool’, she says. We couldn’t agree more. Remember, sparkles should be subtle. Just a hint of shine should be festive without looking like a disco ball.
