This week my computer experienced a few technical issues and was off for a few days. MAY DAY! My world had literally stopped!
After the panic attack & withdrawal symptoms had subsided, I realized it had been a blessing in disguise. My eyes have now gotten some much needed rest, I have done some spring cleaning and gotten some fresh air! The world didn’t fall apart like I’d initially feared it would! I got time to re-define the most important things in life – spending quality time with God, myself, family and friends. That whole ‘stop & smell the roses’ thing is absolutely true!
I think when something happens that stops us in our tracks, we should always pause & ask… ‘what’s God trying to say to me?’ Rather than just relying on the reflex to ‘fix it’ without thinking. You might just be pleasantly surprised 😉
I definitely needed rest. Now I feel rejuvenated and recharged!
Matthew 11:28-29 “…Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
