I know it’s been a minute since I blogged. Well, I am still around, I’ve just had to re-focus my energy into a few projects over the past few weeks. And we all know with a little baby, there’s never enough time to go around. Speaking of baby, isn’t it amazing how differently you start perceiving God once you become a parent? Yes, a process I am thoroughly enjoying everyday. I’d definitely do anything for this little cutie. I must admit, I am dreading the time when she’ll start being independent of me and not want to be cuddled all day, everyday and just want to do her own thing I just can’t get enough of her. Love her big time.
I hope you all had a great Easter weekend. One of the best reminders of perfect love. Because with God it’s always about love. Always has been, always will be. And not just any love… but Big time love. Unrelenting love. A love that would give anything to ensure you and I are not only taken care of, but given the best of the best. A strong but gentle love that would never force ‘that best’ on us, but rather wait for us to connect with it out of our own free will. A love that NOTHING or NO ONE can separate us from. Only we can choose not to embrace, or even walk away from this love, but it will (still) patiently wait with open arms. A love none of us will ever truly grasp the size of, at least while we are still on this earth.
Therefore, if ever you wondered about the meaning of Easter (or Christmas or Jesus), know it’s just always, simply been about love. Big time love. That John 3:16 kind’a love.
For God so loved the world, that He gave his only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 So if ever there was one thing you should always be mindful of, is how loved you are, despite what the world is trying to tell you.
P.s. that’s the cute little frock our little angel wore when we had her dedicated (to God) at church 😉 Dedicated to the only one who “knows the plans He has for her, plans to prosper her and not harm her, plans to give her a hope and a future”. Jeremiah 29:11 …And as parents we can only excitedly wonder what our precious little girl will be when she grows up and do our best to steer her in that direction.
Every good and perfect gift is from above… James 1:17
